When I was growing up I *loved* advent calendars. I used to make my mom hunt far and wide to find an advent calendar every year. Luckily in the last few years, advent calendars have become hugely popular and are easier to find. I still love them, and it is a tradition that I now share with my own family.

Our talented Creative Team member Christina DeWald has put together her own version of an advent calendar that I love! She created her own ornament template and combined it with the yummy December Papers by Crystal Wilkerson. The best part--Christina and Crystal are stuffing your stocking today with your own FREE download of these cool ornaments. So read on for how to make this cool calendar and then make sure to download your copy of the ornaments.

Christina started off with a long piece of ribbon and zigzagged it on her wall from the bottom to the top to create a Christmas tree. Then she placed 24 brads, equally spaced, through the ribbon with the back side of the brad coming out from the wall and the front side of the brad facing the wall.

For each day in December, Christina has her kids hang one of the ornaments on the ribbon tree to count down the days to Christmas.

Come Christmas time, you will have an adorable Christmas tree on your wall. Look at all the fun colors!

Thanks to Christina and Crystal for sharing this gift with us. Click here to start your download or click on the image below.

Make sure to purchase Crystal's December Paper Pack to coordinate with your ornaments for any other projects you may use them for.
