Greetings fellow Spragbabes! Is it not a lovely Friday we have today?

As always, we are awed by the stunning beauty you all have displayed in the challenge gallery for Liv's fabulous challenge last week. Being a person who still buys Martha Stewart Weddings even though it's nine years since I married, I was all over the gallery this week. You guys rock!

But alright, enough gushing for now, lol. Let's get on with this week's challenge.

I thought we'd try a completely new thing this week. Just because you always wow us with your creativity. And because I, as the ruler of the challenge world this week, simply felt like it. Oh, no not letting the power go to my head at all! Hee! This week I thought I'd give you a concept. Just that. Scary, isn't it? What to do with all this freedom? Well wrack your brains my lovelies.

The concept you might ask? Here we go:

"The true essence of summer"

Your job this week is to just go with it. Read it out loud. What does it mean to you? What do you think about when you hear the words? What do you feel? Translate these thoughts and feelings and put it into a layout. You have complete freedom with regards to style, colours, elements, photos and so on.

I cannot wait to see what you guys come up with this week. Best of luck everyone.

Oooh, good challenge. I just put together a layout last night that may work into this challenge, I'll have to give it some more thought.

Had a great summer sprinkler shot I had to use. Done and posted.

I am loving all the summer fun in the gallery! I may have to set up a sprinkler shot like some of those -- they are too cute!

I just had to do this one even though I have TONS on my need to do vs my want to do list. The idea has been simmering there for a week. Even though I don't have the digital skills that I know a lot of people do it is fun and my kids will agree completely that this is the essence of our summer. Bubble, Chalk and the Pool. Hope you like it.
