Hi there! For most of us, this was our first full week back to school, or work, or other regularly scheduled programming after the holidays. To celebrate that, here's a video tutorial and download that first appeared in the January 2009 issue of Creating Keepsakes. It's all about making photo collages! Ready to get your hybrid on? Check here:

With this template, you'll go from here:

To here:

And finally, to here (or on a digi page!)

Ready to get started?

First, Download the FREE photo collage template.

Then, click the image below to launch the video tutorial.

Happy Photoshop Phriday, my friends! And now that you've learned how to create a photo collage, don't forget to check out our other templates, too!

THANKS for the return of the tutorials! I love them. And I love this template. I used it last January and created a hybrid layout of a family road trip. You can find it here: http://mom-e-memoirs.blogspot....-trip.html
Thanks, JS!

I'm SO happy that I found your blog. Thank you for the great tutorial. I love everything about the layout and the pictures are TOO cute.
I also love the pattern papers you used. Can I purchase them through your store? What is the name of the product.

Thank you again. I love learning new things.

Thanks so much! I just recently purchased PSE8 and didn't know how to create a clipping mask. I have several templates, but the instructions just said to create a clipping mask! I have not had a chance to wade through all the tutorial to find out and here you gave it to us for free! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Carol

WOW! Thanks so much! I have PSE8 that I have not even loaded into my computer yet but this tutorial makes me want to get to it now. I have already decided that I will be taking your classes this summer when I have time to seriously concentrate on them, but this tutorial makes it look so easy that I am tempted to start now. (But, no, at least not until after finals in 3 weeks!)

Thanks Jessica! I missed downloading on Friday because I was in labor...this template made the perfect layout for my favorite hospital pics with our new baby boy. I can't wait until we are on a better schedule and I can use the JS gift certificates I got for Christmas! I have a feeling I will be doing more digi scrapping as I can quickly create a page while the baby sleeps (without having to pull out all my paper supplies).

OMG Elliot is still so friggin cute - and fun thing about following a 'scrapbook instructor' for a couple years is that you also get to follow the growth of their children and my gosh J.S.; you make some beautiful babes and I can't believe how fast they are growing.
