The Cabinet Card was the style of photograph which was universally adopted for photographic portraiture in 1870. It consisted of a thin photograph that was generally mounted on cards.

You'll stumble onto these cards when you visit antique stores, flea markets and ebay, but they can be pricey! But with this kit you get the charm of these beautiful vintage cards without the expensive price tag. And through the wonders of digital, you can use them over and over again!
